7U Gold - Manager Eric Laub

8U Gold - Manager Glen Eilbacher

The Hillsborough Gold 8U Tournament team had a fantastic summer.  The team continued to get better with each tournament and every game.  Every player contributed throughout the season, with big hits or bigger defensive plays.  The Pitching staff was lead by Matthew Westcott, Tommy Porowski, Adam Movshin, and Jt Losch. Shaan Kumar also helped throw some key innings when needed.  Logan Eilbacher handled much of the catching duties during the season. Infield and Outfield positions were held down by Jack O'Donnell, Lance Eilbacher, Christian Nielsen, Dominick Bonsignore, and Richard Loniewski.

The Hillsborough Gold 8U team captured the Championship in the 8U B division of the Montgomery Covino Tournament.  The team placed 2nd in the 8U B division of the South Brunswick Viking Tournament.  The team was also a semi finalist in the Bridgewater Memorial Day Tournament.  During district play, the team battled some tough competition playing against eventual district finalists and ultimately the district 10 representative. It was a great experience for the players.

A final thank you to the coaches, Chris Westcott and Jeff Losch, as well as to the parents and all the siblings who supported and cheered the Hillsborough Gold team throughout the "rainy" summer season.

12U Maroon had a great 2013 baseball season, starting with USABL spring travel. The highlight was a double-header sweep of Somerville in May. The team continued to improve throughout the spring leading into the summer tournament season, playing in the Montgomery Covino Classic, Hillsborough's Summer "B", the South Brunswick Viking Classic, and Hillsborough's Last Chance. The boys had their greatest success in South Brunswick where they were 3-1 in pool play, earning the #3 seed (out of 6 teams) and a spot in the playoffs. In the semi-finals, the boys came from behind and tied the game in the top of the 6th, but lost on a walk-off hit in the bottom of the inning. In the Montgomery tournament playoffs, they took the undefeated #1 seed into extra innings but lost 8-7.
